Anh N. Nguyen received her J.D. from
Southwestern Law School in 2007, having earned her Bachelor of Science cum laude
from the University of Southern California. She is admitted to practice before the
state bar of California, the United States District Court for the Central District
of California and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Ms. Nguyen graduated in the top ten percent of her class and was the recipient of
the Frank Waters Scholarship, the Richard V. Cruz Memorial Foundation Law Student
Scholarship and the Albert J. Lee & Mae Lee Memorial Scholarship. Prior to joining
Franscell, Strickland, Roberts & Lawrence, she was an extern for United States
District Court Judge Dean D. Pregerson and the Los Angeles District Attorney’s
Office, Career Criminal Division. She also authored “The Fight For Creamy Peanut
Butter: Why Examining Congressional Intent May Rectify the Problems of the Prison
Litigation Reform Act” which was selected for publication by the Southwestern
Law Review. In addition to her academic accomplishments, Ms. Nguyen was a volunteer
with New Orleans Legal Assistance and the Asian Pacific American Legal Center of
Southern California.
