Daniel Cha earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in
History, with a Minor in Political Science, from UCLA in 2005. UCLA was so nice that he went
there twice, earning his J.D. from the UCLA School of Law in 2008. At the UCLA School of Law,
Mr. Cha served on the Executive Board of the El Centro Legal Clinics as Secretary. In addition,
Mr. Cha was a member of the Moot Court Honors Program, earning an award for Outstanding Brief in
the Fall 2007 competition.
Mr. Cha clerked for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Hardcore Gang Division in Compton. In
addition, Mr. Cha has clerked for the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office. Mr. Cha was also a
research assistant to Professors Richard Abel and Joel Handler at the UCLA School of Law.
Mr. Cha was born and raised in Southern California. He is a devoted fan of most sports and
local teams, especially his alma mater UCLA.
